This sweet and savory, Asian-inspired grilled salmon is easy to make and packed with flavor.
If using frozen Cedar Bay Grilling Company Orange & Ginger Cedar Planked Salmon, let it thaw completely.
Heat grill to 425F.
Add soy sauce, olive oil, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and sugar to a small saucepan.
Bring the sauce mixture to a boil and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce forms a glaze that coats the back of a spoon.
Remove salmon from the package, reserving any extra sauce/marinade in the bag.
Add reserved salmon marinade to glaze and mix thoroughly.
Place Cedar Bay Grilling Company Cedar Planked Salmon directly on the hot grill, cover grill, and cook for 5 minutes.
Brush glaze over top of salmon, cover, and cook for 5 minutes. Brush on more glaze and cook another 5 minutes.
Brush glaze over top of salmon a third time, cover, and finishing cooking until salmon reaches 145F internal temperature (about another 5-10 minutes.)
Remove from heat.
Top with sliced green onions, slice, and serve with a side of rice and your favorite green veggie.
I used Cedar Bay Grilling Company Orange & Ginger Cedar Planked Salmon for this recipe, but this recipe will work with regular salmon as well - it'll just miss the extra zing from the orange and ginger marinade.
