Caramel Apple Cider with Cinnamon Whipped Cream

Celebrate fall, or just warm your tummy, with a hot mug of caramel apple cider with cinnamon whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 64 oz. bottle of apple juice I used Mott's
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 8 whole allspice berries
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp confectioner's sugar
  • Caramel Sauce

Instructions

  1. Put the apple juice, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and whole allspice berries in a slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
  3. Meanwhile, pour the whipping cream, vanilla, ground sugar, and confectioner's sugar into a mixing bowl or your electric mixer bowl.
  4. Whisk/mix until the mixture forms soft peaks when you pull out the whisk.
  5. Store cinnamon whipped cream in a separate container in the refrigerator until the cider is ready.
  6. When the apple cider is ready, strain out spices and pour into mugs.
  7. Top with cinnamon whipped cream.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce on top of whipped cream.
  9. Sip, savor, and enjoy!
