We usually get apple cinnamon, so we thought we’d try a new (to us) flavor of Nature Valley Granola Bars – Maple Brown Sugar.
Nature Valley granola bars have always been a big hit here. While some “healthy” granola bars taste “heeeeaaallthy” (if you know what I mean), Nature Valley granola bars actually taste good. Like, people here who absolutely refuse to eat oatmeal will wolf these things down like crazy, even though they’re also made oats. Go figure, but you can’t argue an empty Nature Valley Granola bar wrapper. As we stood in front of the different options at the grocery store, and as my eyes drifted toward the new Nature Valley Thins with Dark Chocolate, Gil saved the day when he said “You can’t go wrong with Maple Brown Sugar.”
Another great perk – both the Nature Valley Granola Bars and the belVita Breakfast Biscuits are perfectly packaged for portability in your purse. 🙂
On the go breakfast is a great idea. Who wants to cook or clean in the morning?
I’m a stick-in-the-mud. I want my smoothie every morning. I find the time.
i am an absolute sucker for the nature valley granola bars. especially peanut butter ^.^ i try to always bring something on the go to avoid skipping breakfast
Yes, I usually opt for an on-the-go snack for breakfast most of the time! It’s usually some kind of granola bar, fruit, yogurt or other kind of quick thing I can grab and go. I would love to have those days when I can prepare everything and really have a nice meal at home, but those days usually aren’t frequent.
We don’t eat breakfast on the go, but we do want it as simple as possible – no pans, please unless it is the weekend! So bars are a great option, well as what we call “smooshies” – really smoothies.
I am beyond in love with Belvita’s right now!! Just found them and tried them a few weeks back!
I had never heard of Belvita’s! Going to try them!
These sound yummy! And they sound like they would make a good snack too!
