FIX Linens Simple Sort Sheet Sets Features & Benefits
I’ll admit that I usually don’t think about sheet “features” beyond thread count. But FIX Linens have a lot of benefits that are certainly worth noting.
First is their unique color-coding system. FIX Linens attaches tags in different colors (one for each size) to help you quickly pair your fitted with your flat sheets. Also, the tag is affixed to the top-center of the fitted sheet so you aren’t flipping the sheet around the bed as you try to figure out the correct side.
Next are the stylish coded-by-size embroidery lines on the FIX Linens sheets. Each sheet size will have no, 1, 2, or 3 embroidery lines along the top of the flat sheet, depending on the sheet size. The king-sized pillowcases also have 3 embroidered lines. Not only are they a nice decorative touch, but they help you to easily identify the correct sheets at a glance when they’re on the shelf or just out of the dryer.
Finally, FIX Linens sheets are made of soft, durable, 400 thread count, 100% long-staple cotton. (Generally, the longer the staple, the higher the quality of cotton.) Also, the sheets utilize a sateen weave, which was chosen for its ultra-smooth and naturally wrinkle-resistant properties. FIX Linens are also OEKO-TEX certified, which means their sheets are guaranteed to be completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for everyone.

FIX Linens Duvet Cover
If you’ve ever struggled to get a duvet inside a duvet cover, then the FIX Linens Duvet Cover is for you. I’ve tried various tricks for putting on duvet covers – rolling them up, starfishing the corners, standing on the bed, and shaking the whole thing. The FIX Linens Duvet Cover is a duvet cover that’s actually easy to put on.
What makes the FIX Linens Duvet Cover so easy to use, is the convenient zippered design. The zipper goes around 3 sides of the comforter, allowing you to ‘peel’ away the cover and place the blanket inside. What worked for me was laying the duvet cover flat across the bed, unzipping all around, placing the comforter flat inside the opened duvet cover, then zip up! No shaking, no rolling, no jumping, nothing. It’s definitely a time saver, as I was able to get the cover on in just a couple of minutes.

FIX Linens Review
I’ve been using darker sheets in the guest bedroom for as long as I’ve had one. I was excited by the brightness that the white bedding brought to the room. It helped make the room seem more open and relaxing. The sheets themselves were soft and comfortable. While lightweight, the sheets don’t feel like thin, flimsy cotton.
I must say that all of the little things that FIX Linens did to make sorting their sheets easier works. I particularly liked the convenient color-coded tags that FIX Linens uses on all of their bedding. If you’re sorting through a pile of white sheets, you’ll easily identify which sheets and pillowcases go together by matching up the color-coded tags (yellow, orange, purple, or blue) and the embroidery (1, 2, or 3 lines.)
I also really appreciated the extra steps that FIX LINENS takes to help reduce their impact on the environment. I loved that they used paper packaging to wrap the sheets instead of those thin, flimsy plastic pouches you save thinking you’ll use again but never do. Not only is the paper packaging 100% recyclable, but if you carefully open the package, then you end up with some quality packaging paper you can repurpose.

How to Keep White Sheets Looking Like New
A lot of people avoid using white sheets and linens because they seem to get dirty so easily. Without any patterns or colors, any spot or stain appears that much more obvious on white sheets. However, there’s a reason that most hotels use white sheets. White sheets not only show that the bed is clean but also make the room seem more luxurious and fresh. With these easy tips, you’ll be able to keep white sheets looking new.
Skip the Bleach
Most of us are quick to grab the bleach to help treat any stains. But Chlorine bleach is also a strong chemical that can damage quality fabrics. (You don’t bleach silk, right?) Fortunately, there are many safer but still effective, methods for removing stains from white sheets.
Pre-Treat Stains Immediately
The best way to keep whites white is to treat stains immediately, or as soon as you can. Use a natural and environmentally friendly stain stick or spot remover on potential stains. Dish soap and water can also work in a pinch.
Give Whites a Boost
Did you know that it’s normal for white fabrics to yellow over time? Help boost those whites back to bright by soaking the sheets overnight in a stain-fighting laundry booster like Oxiclean or Borax. Some people also add lemon juice to help wash away the dinginess.
Avoid Plastic
It’s kind of weird that so many bedding companies use plastic packaging when storing linens in plastic can actually cause them to turn yellow. Instead of keeping your sheets in plastic, store them in sets, wrapped in their own flat sheet. This allows them to breathe. Add a fragrance satchel to your closet and your sheets will smell great when you pull them out to use them!
Bonus Tip: Need to get wrinkles out of the sheets but don’t want to break out the iron? Use a spray bottle of water to lightly mist your sheets, flatten them out with your hands, and let them air dry naturally. This helps avoid the high heat of the iron that can damage the cotton fibers in your sheets.
