I love it when dinner is easy. Sure, I can bust out a gourmet (or attempt a gourmet) meal when I have time, but sometimes I want something that’s quick and easy to make and delicious to eat. Campbell’s new Skillet Sauces are a great solution to having flavorful meals the whole family can enjoy in just 15 minutes.
Campbell’s Skillet Sauces come in six tantalizing varieties, including Fire Roasted Tomato, Creamy Chipotle, and Thai Green Curry, to name a few. I had a hankering for an Asian-flavored meal, so we decided to give the Toasted Sesame Champbell’s Skillet Sauce a try.
What the Campbell’s Skillet Sauce packets do is to provide a tasty and flavorful sauce that you can mix with your proteins and/or veggies. First, you heat up a little bit of oil and then cook up your base ingredients (chicken, vegetables, etc.) While my chicken was cooking, I steamed up some white rice to go along with the Toasted Sesame chicken. After the chicken was cooked, I added in the Campbell’s Skillet Sauce and let it summer for about five minutes.
Campbell’s Skillet Sauces – Toasted Sesame with Garlic & Ginger
The result is tasty chicken with a hint of sweet and sour sauce with an extra zing from the ginger and garlic. It wasn’t too strong so it didn’t overwhelm the meal but was also enough so that it tasted great over the chicken and rice.
I’m really looking forward to trying some of the other varieties as well. The Thai Green Curry sounds like it will be another great Asian-style dish and the Creamy Chipotle just screams flavor.

I’d have to read the ingredients to see how much sodium they have.
I agree with checking out the amount of sodium. We also mostly make our meals from scratch and don’t do packaged things… but these look interesting.
These sound like tasty and convenient meals!
I used the marsala skillet sauce and found the packet to be a little short on mushrooms. Also the directions were misleading. It said to simmer the breasts in the sauce for 5 min after browning them in a skillet. I found that it took at least 20 to 25 minutes to get the chicken fully cooked.
beat thing that ever happened – they are absolutely delious.
We tried a sample of the Fire-roasted Tomato sauce when it was first being demonstrated in the Walmart in Conover, NC – I immediately bought 2 packets and bought one again within 3 weeks. W-M hasn’t had it since! I’ve tried two others and they aren’t what we thought – not buying those again. I have gone to the website twice and every time I click on the Fire-roasted packet, the Chicken Marsala comes up. Is there a reason Fire-roasted tomato sauce is unavailable, either in the store or to get info on the website? I am going to be severely disappointed if you’ve already discontinued it!!! I can think of several ways to use it for meals, but not the others. Was there something wrong with it?????
