Gil and I have been sweeping up leaves. “Don’t you mean raking?” you may ask? And I’ll say “No – sweeping.” There’s this amazing wagon-puller-sweeper-thingie (I think it’s officially called a lawn sweeper?) that you can drag around and it uses a giant brushed roller that “sweeps” up leaves and pine needles as it rolls around. This thing is AWESOME.
We still do some “traditional” raking around the trees to get the needles out where the sweeper can grab them, but it is an amazing time saver. We’ve always enjoyed working outdoors, but let’s be honest – if we can sweep up the front yard in an hour or hand rake in 5, I’ll take the sweeper.
